Over the past 9 years, my mom has been fighting an incredibly difficult battle with Alzheimer’s. Watching someone you love slowly change is something that’s hard to put into words, and it’s a journey that has affected our whole family in ways we never expected.
I just want to say thank you truly to everyone who has donated and shown support. It means more than you probably realize. Your kindness, generosity, and awareness help bring light to something that can feel so heavy.
While there isn’t a cure for Alzheimer’s yet, there has been real progress in research. Scientists are learning more every year about how the disease works, and new treatments are being developed that can slow its progression and improve quality of life.
We’re not there yet, but we’re closer than we’ve ever been. And with continued support, awareness, and research, I truly believe we can get there.
