I lost my best friend ever, my beautiful and beloved mother, Mahadai,  to Alzheimer’s on August 1 2021. I swore I would do anything to prevent another daughter or son having to lose a mom to this horrible disease. It took my sweet mother away from me one day at a time until she was finally gone. I became her mom in the last year and she my kid. She still made us laugh despite the condition. But I miss her so much that I created a separate compartment in my heart to store her memories - just to stem the pain of missing her. Please help me in whatever little way you can to stop this dreadful disease from affecting us and our loved ones.
