Thank you for supporting me as I raise awareness and funds that will positively impact the lives of individuals living with this condition, their caregivers, and families. I'm taking part in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in Mississauga on May 25th, aiming to raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society. These funds are crucial in meeting the growing demand for programs and services that greatly benefit how those affected by this condition, manage the disease and embrace life to the fullest.

I'm walking in honour of my dad. Growing up, I always saw my dad as someone who was invincible. He has been a significant presence in my life and upbringing - from teaching me to ride a bike to driving a car to coaching me in sports and providing me with wise counsel. Now, as he navigates through this new journey, I want to support him just as he has supported me throughout my life. 

This experience has been incredibly challenging, for my dad and our family. In spite of this, my dad is able to maintain the essence of his resilience, his wit and his enduring connection to his family. 

These experiences remind me of the critical importance of supporting research and resources for Alzheimer's patients and their families.
