Thank you for supporting Elizabeth and I in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of 14,340  people living with dementia in this area.  Also to support their caregivers and families.

Elizabeth and I will be walking in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in Peterborough on May 25th to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, to meet the growing demand for programs and services. These resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.  Elizabeth and I have been beneficiaries of these valuable services in the past and we want to help ensure they are available in the future.  

We will walk a portion of our 14,340 steps each (1 for each person with dementia) around the nursing home in Lindsay, where Liz resides, and join other participants for the balance on May 25th at the Athletic Track at Trent U in Peterborough. We do this because of Elizabeth's Alzheimer's she cannot walk all 14,340 steps on the morning of the Fundraiser.  Our goal is to walk a total of 28,680 steps together between the Lindsay and Peterborough sites.
