This year marks my 10th year participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s. It is also the 40th anniversary of the Alzheimer Society of Sarnia-Lambton.
Over the past decade, I’ve seen incredible growth in our community’s awareness, support, and fundraising efforts. More people are stepping up, sharing their stories, walking alongside families, and helping ensure that no one faces dementia alone.
Yet despite that progress, the number of people living with dementia continues to grow at an alarming rate. Every day, more families are reaching out for support, education, respite, and social connection.
For 40 years, the Alzheimer Society of Sarnia-Lambton has been there for our community — and the need has never been greater.
Every contribution makes a difference and helps ensure families impacted by dementia continue to receive the support they need.
