Thank you for supporting me and helping to make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families. Every year this disease touches the lives of more families I know.  

Myself and my mother, affectionately known as Oma, always participated in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s during the month of May together to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society in Sault Ste. Marie, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.  

This will be my first year participating without my beautiful mom who is now shining down from above.  I miss her so much, we loved participating in this walk together, but I know she will be with me.
