It’s GO Day!


We are at the Alzheimer’s Society on Great Northern Road     We have registered and now enjoying the entertainment.   They have face painting, bean bag toss, chalk and bubbles for young and old alike.  Live music and BBQ food to enjoy.  


LET THE WALK BEGIN

As some of you may know, my mom is living with Alzheimers. The employees at our local Alzheimers Association have been outstanding.  They provide a warm friendly atmosphere and have gone out of their way to help my mom feel welcomed during outings and activities like walks in Bellevue Park and Sing Alongs.  For activities like the Day away program, employees made sure my mom was given a time slot so she could be with a friend.  They are patient and provide opportunities for my mom to participate and maintain independence and dignity.  They always call me to let me know of an upcoming event they think she might enjoy.

I am completely overwhelmed by the outpouring of support I have been receiving!  Together we have more than tripled my original goal and there is still a month to go. So I am setting a new goal.  If you want to help some more, all you have to do is share the link to my fundraising page.  A GREAT BIG shout out to Remi and Kedra!
