Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.

I am once again participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s taking place in Sault Ste Marie on May 31st.  Funds raised help the Alzheimer Society meet the growing demand for programs and services. I have participated since 2018 when Joanne was first diagnosed and we walked together. Since Joanne has transitioned to Long Term Care, I continue to walk to support the mission of the Alzheimer’s Society along with other caregivers in our community. The resources offered by the Alzheimer’s Society make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.  We have benefited from the many program offerings at our local Alzheimer’s Society. These have added a richness to our lives and we have found many companions who walk the same difficult road.
