In the last few years our family has been dealing with my Father and his battle with Alzheimer's. The local societies are crucial for both the patients and moreover the care givers. The support groups for the care givers made the most impact in our situation and the money we raise goes directly to our local Alzheimer's Society!
I’m participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in North Bay on May 30th, 10am-12pm, and this years walk is located on the beautiful shores of Lake Nipissing!! (Kiwanis Bandshell)
We all walk to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.
