Hello there!

I’m participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s but I also work for the Alzheimer Society of Toronto (AST). 

I not only work for AST but I know first hand that the programs and services provided by AST were a lifesaver for my dad and I during his 15 year journey with dementia.

I learned about Ambiguous Loss through AST. Ambiguous loss is a type of loss you feel when a person with dementia is physically here, but may not be mentally or emotionally present in the same way as before. This is very different from the loss and grief of a death.

Unfortunately, I lost my dad on November 11, 2023. He will never be forgotten and I miss him everyday. 

I am raising money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society of Toronto, so they can meet the ever growing demand for programs and services in our community.
