For my Dad
Almost five years ago, our family’s world changed when our dad was diagnosed with dementia. Since then, we’ve been walking a path filled with challenges, love, and a deeper understanding of what it means to truly cherish every moment.
Our dad means the world to us —he’s taught us the value of hard work and the importance of family. He’s made us laugh, guided us through life’s biggest decisions, and always there when we needed him. Seeing him slowly change has been one of the most difficult things we’ve ever faced and we’re so proud to be walking in his honour.
Dementia doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed—it touches the entire family. It alters relationships, routines, and realities. Millions of people around the world are affected by dementia, and the numbers continue to grow. That’s why we’re walking—not just for our dad, but for every family going through the same journey.
We’re proud to support the Alzheimer’s Society, whose incredible work funds life-changing research and provides vital resources to those affected by dementia. Their support has made a real difference, and we want to do our part to ensure that continues.
Please consider donating or walking with us this cause means so much to us. Every step we take and every dollar raised brings us closer to a future where families like ours have hope, support, and—one day—a cure.
We are walking for our dad and our uncle who passed.
Thank you!!!
