Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds for those living with dementia. My father Jasper Bellissimo was diagnosed with dementia last summer after months of trying to figure out why he’s health was declining physically and mentally. He went from being his vibrant, chatty self to a different person. Watching the change in his behaviour has been so hard for my family. Learning more about his diagnose and the support for families with a loved one battling dementia has slowly help us navigate this new reality and new version of our dad. 

My family is participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in Toronto on Saturday, May 24 to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. We have seen first hand how difficult it has been on ensuring he is being cared for properly and receiving the right treatment at a facility. Our hope by raising money is that we can make a difference for those who’s lives have been impacted by dementia and they can still live to their fullest.
