A deeply heartfelt thank you to everyone who is supporting us as we take part in this walk. The love, kindness, and encouragement we’ve received has truly been incredible it means more than we can put into words.
For the past 10 years, our family has been on a journey we never would have chosen. Watching our patriarch and gave us so many of our most cherished memories live with Alzheimer’s has been one of the most difficult and emotional experiences of our lives.
This disease changes things in ways that are hard to explain. There are moments of connection we hold onto tightly, and others that remind us just how much Alzheimer’s takes. It’s a long, complicated journey that affects all of us.
He is not the only one in our family facing this diagnosis, which makes this even more personal. No family should have to go through this alone.
That is why we are walking.
We walk to honour him and everything he has built.
We walk to support the loved ones in our family who are also facing this disease.
We walk with hope for a better care, more understanding, and a future where no one has to experience this.
