My family is once again participating in this year’s Walk for Alzheimer's on Saturday May 25th 2024. Our team name is the Montrose Owls. For those that don’t know, my mother worked at Montrose Public School for 27 years and it is also the elementary school my brother, sister and I attended.  

This is a cause that is near and dear to our hearts. My mom was diagnosed with dementia almost 8 years ago. My grandmother had alzheimer's but developed it later on in life.   Taking care of a loved one living with this disease is one of the hardest things to go through as a family, which is why this cause means so much to me and my family.
