Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.

For over 8 years now I have been part of the roughly 6% of Canadians (that's about 2 million people!) providing care for both children and care-dependent adults at the same time. In my case, the people I'm caring for are all beloved family members. These sandwiched caregiving responsibilities have been shown to impact mental health, physical health and career. Having been through it myself, my heart goes out to all who similarly share these responsibilities, especially when related to Alzheimer's.

On May 24th I am walking in honour of my loved ones and the many other Canadians with Alzheimer's. As well, I'm walking to support those who are giving their time to care for loved ones with Alzheimer's and dementia.
