Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
For the fourth year in a row, I'm Walking for Alzheimer’s in Windsor on May 31st to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Society for the growing demand for programs and services. This cause is incredibly meaningful to me because Alzheimer's has touched my family in a profound way - my mom has this disease.
Watching my mom navigate through the challenges of Alzheimer's has been both heartbreaking and inspiring. Every day, she faces new hurdles. But her unwavering spirit shines through with her smile, calm disposition and continued sense of humor. Yet, I know that she’s just one of millions who are impacted by Alzheimer's, and that's why I'm committed to making a difference.
Alzheimer's not only affects individuals like my mom, but it also takes a toll on families, care partners and caregivers. It robs people, no matter the age, of their memories, independence, and their sense of self. But together, with your donation, we can provide the support, resources and training to deal with this disease.
By supporting me in this walk, you're not just helping me reach my fundraising goal; you're joining me in the fight against Alzheimer's. Your donation will fund essential resources and programs to families, and offer hope for a future without Alzheimer's.
Every step I take in this walk is a testament to my mom's life mission to care and help others. Now it’s my mission too. It is also a symbol of our collective determination to make a difference. Together, we can walk towards a world where Alzheimer's is a thing of the past.
Thank you for standing with me in this important cause. Your support means the world to me and to all those affected by Alzheimer's.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Anne Marie St. Amand
