Thank you for supporting me in raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer Society through the Walk for Alzheimer’s.
This year’s Walk is especially personal for me. It's been a difficult year without my mom, who lived with dementia. I’m walking in her memory, and in honour of the many families and caregivers navigating all the challenging moments that come with this disease.
I’m also walking to support the incredible team at AgeCare Royal Oak that cared for my mom: a team my good friend Andy was so passionate about supporting during last year’s Walk. I'm happy to participate in an initiative he started.
As part of this fundraiser, I’m launching a personal project called Hold On, a journey back to aerial silks after injury, connected to movement, memory, grief, and healing. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing the process online.
Thank you for supporting this cause, and for helping make a difference for people living with dementia, their caregivers, and families. Every donation truly matters.
