Welcome to my Participant Page! 

Thank you for considering supporting me in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families. 

This will be my fifth year participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s which takes place on May 24th, 2025. I walk in memory of my Mom, Anne Mason, and my Dad, Rod, who was her loving husband and patient caregiver. This walk helps raise money on behalf of the York Region Alzheimer Society, so that they can meet the growing demand for programs and services that benefit people with dementia and their caregivers. These programs and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.  

Alzheimer's Disease touches so many people around us. I am so impressed by the programs and support that Alzheimer’s York Region offers that I am a Board Member and the Chair of their Fund Development Committee. The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s is the biggest and most important fundraiser for the Alzheimer Society.
