This year will mark my third Walk for Alzheimer's as I enter my third year working here. I truly do love the work I get to do and to help people in all sorts of different situations. Seeing the difference that my work and my colleagues' work makes is a really powerful experience.
In addition to the work side of things, Alzheimer's disease also affects the personal side of my life with my mom's mom currently living with Alzheimer's disease and it being a bit over a year since my mom's aunt passed of Alzheimer's disease.
Donations made to my page will stay directly within my local society which means it will help fund the work I do educating the general public and care partners as well as the work my colleagues do like our Active Living Program, adult day programs, and social work support.
