Dear Family and Friends,

I’m excited to tell you that I’m participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's as team name: Forget-Me-Not-Frances.  The event takes place Saturday, May 30th, 2026 to support the Alzheimer Society - York Region. 

Our family has received a lot of aid over the years (including our Grandma Ivy, our Dad Tony, and most recently our Mum Frances). The one-on-one caregiver support, Day Programs, and long term care placement support when the time came, offered a lifeline for desperately needed help. I want to help give back something, to the people and system who have helped me, my Mum, Dad, and Grandma.

Right now, more than 17,000 York Region residents are living with dementia. By 2030, this number will double. Your donation will help fund the growing demand for programs and services offered through the Alzheimer Society locally in York Region.  These and other resources make all the difference by providing compassionate support and improving the quality of life for people living with dementia and their families.
