My grandmother dealt with Alzheimer's for 11 years before passing, it is incredibly difficult to see your loved one go through this. Continuous support created a backbone for us and for her, we cannot be grateful enough for the support the society has given us. As a nurse, it is my goal to give back by caring for others and helping others who are going through this same thing. We remember them when they no longer can.
