On May 24, I’m participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s—not just as the Director of Revenue Development for the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, but also as someone who cares deeply about this cause.

Across Canada, more than 650,000 people are living with dementia. Here in Saskatchewan, over 20,000 individuals are affected—and that number is expected to more than double in the next 30 years.

The Walk for Alzheimer’s is a powerful event that brings our communities together to honour those living with dementia. The funds we raise support programs and services right here in our province that improve the quality of life for people living with dementia and their families, and for other activities like education and public awareness.
