My friend Cindy and I are registered for the IG Walk For Alzheimer’s on May 24, 2025 in Saskatoon in honour of our family members who have this horrible disease. Cindy is walking for her Mother, Olga Kozminski who is currently in a Care Home,  and I am walking for my Aunt Gloria Unrau who passed away 4 years ago and also for my Sister, Dorothy Prpic who is currently in a Care Home.   Thank you for supporting us in raising awareness and funds that will make a difference in the lives of people living with dementia, their caregivers and families.

Two out of every three people are affected, whether we are living with the disease, or caring for and loving someone who is.  Cindy and I personally see how dementia affects a loved one. To see the “lights go out” in the ones you love so much, is a very painful experience.  

We are participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s to help raise money on behalf of the Alzheimer Society, so they can meet the growing demand for programs and services. These and other resources make all the difference in the way that people affected by dementia are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.
