Walk in honour of someone in your life affected by dementia. Register for yourself, with friends and family, or alongside your colleagues!
Why fundraise for the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan?
- Currently, 20,000 individuals in Saskatchewan are facing dementia, and this number is on the rise. For each person living with dementia, there are countless others affected, including family, friends, co-workers, and community members.
- While our ultimate goal is a world without Alzheimer's and other dementias, the journey begins with creating a society where those with the disease are embraced, recognized, and included – a truly dementia-friendly Saskatchewan. You can contribute to making this vision a reality.
- Funds raised through the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s ensure that individuals living with dementia and their families can access support, education, and information from the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan. Additionally, these funds contribute to research aimed at understanding the causes of and finding cures for dementia.
Collecting donations offline?
We encourage you to use the website as much as possible for your fundraising in 2024 in order to minimize paper exchanges on the day of the event.
However, if you do collect cash or cheques, please ensure you arrive at the event with this Pledge Form already completed.
