Event Information:
Alzheimer's and other dementias affects over 3,000 people in Sarnia-Lambton. A further 6,000 are care-partners and family members. We know that for every one person diagnosed with dementia, there are 2 others affected. Join us on Saturday, May 18th at the Black Gold Brewery parking lot for a fun 5k Walk in support of those in your community living with dementia. Get your family together and form a team and walk in honour of somebody who is living with dementia or in honour of somebody. This year we are offering a lunch following the walk provided by that Hot Dog Guy and Holme Plate catering! Join us for a gourmet sausage on a bun, salads and soft drink. Lunch is $13.00 and can be purchased when you register. Post walk, enjoy the Black Gold patio and musical entertainment! All walkers raising over $100.00 will be given an IG Wealth Management walk t-shirt. Choose your size when you register.

How to Participate:
Our Petrolia Walk is a Warm-up to our official IG Wealth Management Walk! Participation is Easy! Register for the walk, collect pledges. Form a team or walk on your own. Advertise your participation in your social media and ask friends and family to sponosor you. Join us on Saturday, May 18th at the Black Gold Parking lot under the Alzheimer Society inflatible arch. There will be a prize awarded for the top earner! Get your steps in and then join us for lunch and musical entertainment on the Black Gold patio. We will also have some fun activities for the kids!
