Come and join us Sunday 26th May 2024 at 10am at the historic and beautiful Pointe du Moulin Park in Notre-Dame-de-L’Ile Perrot to celebrate, honour and support individuals living with dementia and their care partners in the Suroît region. All proceeds from the IG Wealth management Walk for Alzheimer’s in the Suroît region will directly fund crucial programs and services in our community.
Today most of us know of someone who is living with dementia. Every step you take helps us achieve our mission. Help us walk for theover 7000 people in the Suroît region living with dementia and make memories matter.

The Alzheimer Society Suroît provides free services including information, support, training, respite and stimulation, in both English and French, for people living with dementia and their families. The Suroît region comprises the MRCs of Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Beauharnois-Salaberry, Haut-Saint-Laurent, Kahnawake and the Greater Châteauguay area.

We hope you will be able to join us but if you are unable to join us at Pointe du Moulin, or prefer to participate in a different way or at a different time, you can still support your community and help us raise money by being creative and Walk Your Way. Have your family and friends sponsor you for any individual or group activity that you do on your own schedule – run, jump rope, dance, climb stairs, play a musical instrument, juggle, etc.
Challenge yourself to do 7000 steps/jumps, etc. one for each person with dementia in the region
