The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's, presented by Go Auto, returns to communities across the province on Sunday, May 25!
The Walk is the Alzheimer Society of B.C.’s largest annual fundraising event and provides an opportunity for communities to take action to change the future for the over 85,000 British Columbians living with dementia and the people who care for them. The event is also an opportunity for us tohonour and remember the people in our lives who have been affected by Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia.
Funds raised will help to provide programs and services for families on the dementia journey, providing the support they need to maintain the best possible quality of life throughout the progression of their journey, and enable critical research to change the future of the disease. We couldn’t do this work without the generous efforts of our fundraisers and donors!
Join us to show people affected by dementia they don’t have to walk the journey alone.
To register, choose your Walk location using the drop-down menu at the top of this page, and then “Click to Continue.” On the next page, register as an individual, create a team or join an existing team.
Walk in a Box and Walk Your Way
If you are unable to participate in one of our official in-personWalk events, but wouldstill like to be involved this year, please consider:

Walk in a Box - Plan a small event with family, friends or coworkers. Walk in your neighbourhood or simply gather together and raise funds.

Walk Your Way - Get active in a way that suits you: run, cycle, swim, paddle, dance, etc.However you choose to move, show your support in your own way.

The Alzheimer Society of B.C. is looking for volunteers who want to drive change and transform their community. An organizing committee of passionate, dedicated volunteers manages each in-person Walk location.We always welcome new members to provide new ideas and different perspectives and add to the passion and dedication of the group.
