As someone deeply involved in dementia research and advocacy, I’m honoured to participate in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s presented by the Alzheimer Society of Canada. 

This cause is especially meaningful to me as my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2012 and lived with the condition for 10 years before passing away in 2022. Watching her navigate the challenges of dementia profoundly shaped both my personal life and my professional journey.

The Alzheimer Society provides vital programs and services that help individuals living with dementia and their caregivers manage the disease and continue to live fulfilling lives. With dementia being one of the fastest-growing healthcare concerns of our time, the demand for these services continues to grow.
