We are the Anne's Aces Team. Our team consists of Jennifer Smith, Shannon Smith and Natalie Harris and we walk because our Mom/Grandma lived with Alzheimer's Disease and we saw first hand what challenges she faced and how the disease impacted her and our lives. We know that the services and programs that the Alzheimer York Region chapter offers to clients and their families are helping others who are affected by this disease. We are also participating in the Walk this year because dementia is the fastest growing healthcare issue of our time. As more and more people are impacted there is an increasing demand for Alzheimer Society programs and services. These services make all the difference in the way that people are able to manage the disease and live life to the fullest.
