On Sunday, May 31, our team Raise the Curtain. Raise Awareness. will be participating in the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon’s largest fundraising event:  the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s in Nanaimo, BC. 

This walk is an opportunity for communities to come together and take action to change the future for the more than 85,000 British Columbians and Yukoners living with dementia, as well as the people who care for them.

Some of you may know that we recently premiered our new play, I Don’t Belong Here: Stories & Songs at the Edge of Forgetting, on Vancouver Island and in Coquitlam. The response has been truly overwhelming. We’re excited to share that the play will be touring in 2027.

Alongside the production, we’ve developed an outreach program that connects us with local Alzheimer’s societies in each community we visit. Participating in the May 31 walk is a meaningful extension of our commitment to supporting Alzheimer’s research, programs, and education.
