Once again, The Grass Home Strollers will be taking part in the annual Walk for Alzheimer's raising not only funds but also awareness for a cause very near and dear to our hearts. On May 22nd, staff, residents, volunteers and family members will be walking in our courtyard. Our residents love taking part in this special afternoon as it is not only a fun time but also contributes to a sense of community.               

     Of course, John , Lynn and our staff will take a pie to the face for every $1000 raised. Our residents love this and often volunteer to throw the pies at their favorite staff member! We will also be selling tickets on two amazing prize bundles filled with gift cards and products generously donated by local businesses. 

     We are participating in the Walk because dementia is the fastest growing healthcare issue of our time. As more and more people are impacted there is an increasing demand for Alzheimer Society programs and services.
