We are participating in the Walk this year because of our loved one, Don Patterson: our husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend. We saw how helpful it was for our family to have support from the Alzheimer Society programs during his end of life journey through dementia. We want to help other families receive that support as they care for their loved ones.

Also, dementia may be coming up the pike for some of us!
