A few years ago, Bill was officially diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. Since then, our family has been navigating the many challenges, changes, and emotions that come with this disease — learning to adapt to new symptoms and stages while trying to hold onto the moments of joy and connection along the way.

Throughout this journey, the Alzheimer Society of Canada has been an incredible source of support, guidance, education, and compassion for both my father and our family. Their resources and care have helped us feel less alone during some very difficult times.

This year, we are participating in the Walk for Alzheimer’s to give back and help ensure other families facing dementia have access to the same support we have received.
