We walk for Michelle who is living with dementia.  But in truth, we walk for so many living with this disease and for their care partners.

As Personal Support Workers, caregivers, and family members, we step into spaces where memories fade. But, dignity, compassion, and connections never waiver.

Everyday, we witness the small victories: a flicker of recognition, a shared smile, a moment of calm.  We also carry the weight of the harder moments: the confusion, the frustration, the gradual changes that Alzheimer’s brings.  And still, we show up with patience, kindness, and care.

This walk is more than steps on a path. It is an understanding that as care partners, caregivers and PSWs, we will continue to stand strong, even when the journey is long. 

We walk to raise funds but we also walk to raise hope.  Hope for better support, better resources and better days ahead.  

Michelle is at the heart of every step we take. Together, as caregivers, PSWs, and as a team bound by compassion, we will keep moving forward with strength, with love, and with unwavering purpose. Care doesn’t stop when memory fades and neither do we.
