Our team is called Dad Jokes because if you know my dad, you know he loves a good dad joke, and he will tell one to just about anyone he meets. Making people laugh has always been one of his things.

My dad loves being outside. He enjoys going for walks, playing pickleball, visiting the market, and spending time at the cottage. He loves camping and listening to music, and he’s always been someone who just enjoys being around people. One of the things that means the most to him is being a dad. He is a very proud girl dad and loves his wife, Wendy, so fiercely. Family has always been everything to him.

Some of our favourite memories are simple ones, spending time together, going to Toronto Rock games, and of course, sharing a sweet treat.

I created this team to walk in his honour, celebrate the kind of person he is, and raise awareness for dementia and frontotemporal dementia. If you want to join us, support the cause, or walk alongside us, we would love to have you on Team Dad Jokes.
