Welcome to Team “Nonna’s lil Gnocchis”

We are raising awareness and funds for the Alzheimer Society in honour of our Nonna and every family affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.

If you know our Nonna, you know her door was always open. Whether you stopped by for five minutes or stayed all afternoon, she was ready to feed you like family. No visit was ever “too short” for a full meal, fresh coffee, homemade pasta, or dessert already waiting on the table. Bringing people together through food, laughter, and love has always been one of the most special parts of who she is.

The kitchen is her happy place, and being surrounded by the people she loves means everything to her. That warmth, comfort, and love she gives so freely is exactly why we chose the name “Nonna’s lil Gnocchis.”

This walk means so much to our family because Alzheimer’s affects so much more than memory — it impacts entire families, caregivers, friendships, and everyday life. Through this fundraiser, we hope to help support programs, resources, and care for those navigating this heartbreaking disease.
